Our long-range fixed-wing Data Mule UAS autonomously flies to and wirelessly gathers data from remote sensors. A single Data Mule UAS can service an area of up to 300,000 acres.
GROUND-BASED DATA STATION
Each weatherproof data station is compatible with most existing sensors including camera traps, air quality sensors, and soil monitors. As the UAS circles overhead, the data station transfers the fully encrypted sensor data.
How It Works
1. Autonomously takes off
Preprogrammed with GPS coordinates of the data stations, it runs the mission autonomously. The UAS does the flying so you don't have to.
2. Circles above Data Station
After reaching a data station GPS position, the UAS circles overhead and wirelessly collects the data transmitted from the ground-based data station.
3. Continues the mission
The UAS will continue to service all preprogrammed data stations before heading home loaded with your data.
The UAS autonomously flies missions to collect the data. The UAS offers a serviceable range of over 40 km (25 mi) on a single flight including fully autonomous takeoff and landing.
Secure storage and data transfer
All data is stored, transferred, and delivered securely using military-grade encryption. Furthermore, all data is backed up using two-pass data transfer to prevent data loss in case of an in-flight UAS failure. You can be confident transmitting data from any sensor, no matter how sensitive.
Long-term deployment ready
Our system was originally designed for some of the harshest conditions on the planet—the remote desert canyons of the UAE. Each data station is solar powered and fully weatherproof, and each one is guaranteed to survive for at least 12 months
in the wild.
